Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of most famous and rich Reggae artists. Shottas was one of the most acclaimed films in which he appeared alongside another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. Each of these songs contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the younger generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees to perform Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem a world-class concert held in Miami. Marley played a live set in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley's name became the topic of a bid war.
