Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26th, 1991) more popularly known as her real title Ari Lennox is an American singer and songwriter from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist signed to J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. In October 21st, 2016 she debuted Pho, her first EP under the label Dreamville Records. That was the day she gained her first the attention of her peers. The album that she released as her debut album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7 2019. Ari Lennox started uploading her music on the internet back in 2012 after she released her debut mixtape, Five Finger Discount and debut EP Ariography, in 2013.
